To be legally married in New Zealand, you need to have a New Zealand registered celebrant officiate your wedding ceremony.  Marriage celebrants in New Zealand have been appointed by the Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM) and ensure that all the legal and administrative requirements of a wedding ceremony are sorted.

When should we get in contact to confirm your availability?

It's never too early to be prepared for your big day!  It's super important to lock in your key vendors as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.  If I am unavailable for your date there will be other marriage celebrants that I can reccommend for you get in contact with.

Can you travel to officiate wedding ceremonies in New Zealand?

I am available year round, locally offering my service at as a marriage celebrant through out the greater Hawkes Bay Region including Napier, Hastings and Havelock North.  I am also available to travel throughout New Zealand on request.

We want to include other people in our ceremony, is that possible?

Of course! Your ceremony revolves around you, your love story, and the individuals who have shared that journey with you. It's only natural to desire the presence of your loved ones on your special day. Incorporating people into your ceremony can take various forms, such as readings, poems, songs, and poignant moments like lighting candles to honor those no longer with us.  Nevertheless, certain aspects of the ceremony, such as solemnization and other legal requirements, must be handled by your celebrant. This is where my role comes into play, ensuring that these essential elements are taken care of seamlessly.

What does it cost?

I am committed to crafting ceremonies that are as distinctive as the two of you.  The investment for my Cermony Packages are detailed here for the 2024/2025 season. These fees reflect the dedication and effort I invest into creating and officiating a ceremony that is uniquely yours.
